The Guided Missle…God’s Version

The following has nothing to do with politics, but that can be refreshing!

I love the birds of prey.  Their capabilities are fascinating and, in some cases, astounding.  To say that they are the product of mere chance over millions of years stretches credulity to the breaking point.  I’m sorry…I don’t have that much faith.

The video below shows God’s creativity in the goshawk.  This particular hawk was created to navigate through thick forests to pounce upon its prey.  It makes man’s attempts at creating guided missiles look so pathetic.  Watch and wonder!

Why Do Liberals Throw Things at Conservatives

Over at The American Spectator, Aaron Goldstein asks this question and then gives a concise summary of the situation.  His concluding paragraph is golden:

But why do liberals throw things at conservatives? Because liberals cannot bear to hear impure thoughts. They cannot countenance opinion that differs from their own. People who think differently from them must be subject to humiliation in the name of tolerance. Of course if liberals were really tolerant then they would be curious enough to ask questions of conservatives. Tough questions perhaps but questions that would give the conservative the room necessary to reply. Liberals will tell you that they welcome opposing views provided that such views not make their presence known. Alas, liberals wouldn’t know tolerance if it hit them in the face.

Alas, all too true, as the many examples cited in his essay prove.  Go read the whole thing.

You know what the scary part is? Not that the government will cease to function, [but] that they think this is actually the government functioning. They think it is working well.
