Remembering the big picture

The news from Sunday night of the death of Osama bin Laden at the hands of a Special Forces team is, indeed, good news for the country and for all those who love liberty.  It would be well to remember, however, that the various components that accomplished this were set up by our previous president frequently over the opposition of the current occupant of the Oval Office, and that this achievement forms only a small part of The One’s performance appraisal of his present term in office.

The vast majority of that performance is abysmal relative to the overall health of this great nation.

And for those bleeding hearts that are somehow offended that we calmly celebrate the death of this sadist, let me remind you of the fruit of his work, not just on 9/11, but in the subsequent struggle to subdue this venomous creature and his ilk:

The story of the above for those who don’t know it can be found here.  The terrorists specifically waited to attack when the soldiers were surrounded by children.  Little Farah was one that didn’t make it.
